Here is a great example of the high standards we can produce a race car to.

This is a recently built historic Mini Cooper S built to appendix K regulations for a customer.  Whether you’re looking for a complete ground up build or a conversion, with or without engine we can provide a service to suit your needs.

This particular car was built less engine as the customer has a few race engines already to fit, so the car was built ground up from a donor Mk1 Mini, every part test fitted prior to painting, then assembled.  Fit an engine and this car is ready to win races !

We are working with Bill Sollis who most people will already of heard of, in case your one of the few who has not here is a little bit about Bill who can also offer driver training and car suspension set-up on these great little cars !

Bill-Sollis

My interest in Minis began riding on the back seat of my Mother’s Tweed Grey Mk1 850. My first car was a Woody estate in which I passed my driving test. My interest in racing developed from enjoying driving Minis. Having joined the Mini Se7en Racing Club I bought a blown up racer, repaired it and headed to Brands Hatch. Knowledge was small, skills pretty much non-existent, but the enthusiasm was boundless. The first race was in October 1984 at Brands. Fever was instant. It took a couple of seasons to win a race and become fully competitive. In 1990 I was delighted to win the Mini 7 National Championship, the last year of the 850 formula. We followed that up with Championship victory in 1991 too, the first year of 1000cc Mini Se7en.

Moving to Mini Miglia seemed logical, and Cars and Car Conversions magazine backed the campaign. Helped by Peter Vickers we were winning races immediately, although it took until 1997 to finally win the championship. CCC had opened many doors and as well as writing regularly for them and Mini World, I was works driver for the KAD team. We famously won the Fastest Mini in the World race at Silverstone in 1994, sponsored by Sanwa Trading who have been loyal supporters ever since. I was guesting too in the FIA Historic Touring Cars, in a Cooper S of course, and racing modern machinery as well. These were heady days.

A further Miglia title was secured in 2006 with works support from Swiftune. Since then I have continued to race regularly whilst developing the driver coaching side of my business. The time is right for a full time return to the tracks. Details to follow!

As promised, details …..
